It's you who makes the choice to buy the shirt or not.If it's ok to spend your money AND BE exploited on whichever designer fashion label of clothes you wish and in all likelihood wear them for a considerably shorter span of time than your city shirt - then for goodness sake shut up complaining about shirt cost and shirt cycle's. The shirt cost is the shirt cost. The football club is a business. The more money the club makes from shirt sales, the more money can be made available to strenghten the team. The more shirts sold can directly influence the standard of player brought to the club and therefore influence where our team will be playing football over the next few years. The shirt is fine. The cost is reasonable within it's marketplace The one year cycle allows us to go out and get the best sponsorship deal The one year deal may mean the club has a larger income Be thankful we have a club run by people who have put their money in to ensuring that Leicester FANS get to see football, they are doing their level best to put LCFC in as strong a position as possible - stop feckin moaning FFS. 81669[/snapback] I don't think many people will disagree with the sentiment expressed in this post. The main problem is the way in which the Club does these deals and then presents them to the fans in a very much take it or leave manner. What would be wrong with some honesty from the Club, less spin from the Club and a process that engages the fans when the Club fleeces them of money so that fans give up money willingly rather than begrudgingly. 81672[/snapback] Agree with your comments BUT the club is a business just as all the designer/label clothes manufacturers are - my point is- if as an individual you buy labels the only benefit is to the manufacturer, they make the money and most people will only ever have a token gesture of a moan but carry on buying. The club does at least give you something back, a perceived benefit of putting your money over the counter for goods is that our team can be improved as a result of people spending on club shirts etc. Honesty in life would be a wonderful turn up for the books but it ain't going to happen - the club will put spin on things but ultimately if you can afford to buy, you make your choice and the club benefits - so hopefully as fans will we. I will make my choice and buy the shirt as will thousands of others which will make a difference to our football club.
