Durnerz Posted 24 March 2008 Posted 24 March 2008 Anyone had it? I'm struggling massively at the moment with it, its a right bastard! Any tips on how to make it go quicker, pretty please!
purpleronnie Posted 24 March 2008 Posted 24 March 2008 I had it very bad when I was 10, I was in bed for a month. The fact you're well enough to be on a PC probably means you havent been hit too hard with it I could barely move and slept 20+ hours a day...everyday for a month.
Durnerz Posted 24 March 2008 Author Posted 24 March 2008 Have you tried sucking a fisherman's friend Yes but the fisherman wasn't too happy about it. One side of my neck looks like a tennis ball but constant paracetamol and rest seems to be doing it ok, cough sweets too. Feel like sheeeeeite.
Jordan Posted 24 March 2008 Posted 24 March 2008 Oh, f**k, that sucks. My friend picked up one of those just hours before he and I had to board our flight to England and it ruined his trip, he was in agony. He couldn't even eat because his mouth, face and neck hurt so much and even his saliva was stinging his mouth because of the infection. He brought over some medicine from the U.S. and stopped by hospitals a few times to take advantage of his health care as a UK citizen, and I don't think anything helped speed the recovery process. I'm no doctor, but I'm afraid to say I think you're just going to have to take whatever yr doctor prescribes and just grind it out over the next few days .
