morris1234 Posted 17 April 2008 Posted 17 April 2008 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/7350445.stm Stoke City are on the verge of breaking their record for season ticket sales, with nearly 10,000 already sold. Fans have until close of business on Thursday to snap up a season ticket at a reduced rate. Chief executive Tony Scholes told BBC Radio Stoke: "I'm pretty sure we will sell more season tickets for next year than ever before. "We're also expecting well over 20,000 for the Bristol City game on Saturday. It's a great time for the club." The Potters have also taken the unusual step of limiting the number of tickets allocated to fans of the Robins for Saturday's crunch game at the top of the Championship. "Home advantage is important," said Scholes. "We want the noise in the stadium to be backing our team." Bristol fans have been granted 2,500 seats in the South Stand at the Britannia Stadium. Travelling supporters are usually granted full use of the 5,000-capacity away end. cheeky buggers better not do that to us, im planning on going to this game so i will be rather annoyed if i cannot get tickets because of this!

We've hardly taken 1000 to most away games this season so I doubt we'll take over 2500 in both of the two remaining away games. I doubt tickets will be that hard to come by.

SamL Posted 17 April 2008 Posted 17 April 2008 Ha. Noise in the Britannia. When they get going, they're pretty loud. But this is very rare.

It all depends on the next two games. You will be suprised how many Leicester fans would go if the game decides the future.
