Even if my team loses in the park I get a feeling that I may have let the team down and could have done better. I love playing football, I play for free and love it. I get emotional when I lose because i want to win. How is Steve Howard or DJ Campbell feeling now. Or even Matt Oakley, they are probably on there way home in their flash cars thinking about what club they can join in the summer. I no it's not just our club, but it is a darn lot worse here than other clubs in this division.
C-man Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I played my last Sunday League game for my club last night (Friday I know ), and I have been there since January. I don't live anywhere near it so i have no local affinity for them. But I was genuinely gutted to lose my last game for them, and it was against the top side in the division. My point is that it shouldn't matter what team you play for, you should give 100%, and if you lose, you shouldn't forget it until the next game you win. I have a feeling that certain players at LCFC don't have that belief, and as a result have let down thousands and thousands of people.

And did the agent involved in those deals leave with the signed contracts in a mask and cape on his trusty steed?! Mind you, if we are league one bound those two may actully start to repay some of that fee, because niether of them is up to the Championship in my opinion.
