Caution is destroying City

With regards the team being out and socialising together after a defeat, i feel some realism might be needed.

At the end of the day they are young lads and they work together, so going for a drink after work is not the biggest crime ever commited.

How many times have we cocked up at work and taken a bollocking but as soon as the clock strikes 5, it is forgotten and we go home and continue doing the things we would normally?.

You can't expect them to stay at home and never go out just because things aren't going to plan. Yes it might seem like a bad time to be out having a drink but when all said and done, it is still only a job they do and they happen to work for LCFC.

I know this doesn't relate to what Thracian has just wrote but i wanted to express my anger at lastnight!!

I'm a 27 year old guy from Birstall and was out with a couple of pals over Loughborough lastnight. We'd had a few drinks and decided although i'm not getting any younger i could still show how it was done on the clubbing scene!!...So we went to a nightclub in Loughborough called Vice Versa. When i got in there i couldn't believe what i saw... Nearly all of the squad were out laughing and joking and looking like they didn't have a care in the world. The players in there were, Hume, Fryatt, Stearman, Hayles, A.Chambers, Mattock, Weslowski, Sappleton, King, to name a few! They were accompanied by some of the youth players and also Shush!.

I don't understand how they can be out on a night out a few hours after losing a massive game in the clubs history. Players like Stearman and Mattock say they love this club and there local lads but how can they when they lose what was a "must win" game yesterday. Hume had missed a penalty only earlier in the day but it looked the last thing on his mind lastnight. They were with women and didn't look like they cared if this club stays up or ends up in League One next season.

I don't know if they didn't go out in Leicester because they thought there would be trouble but i just wanted to let people know what some of your idols were up to lastnight why a lot of fans were feeling depressed and angry with the result.

Where is Holloways authority letting the squad go out after the position this club is in and the result yesterday?!

I'll just go back to my shift work on Monday and save up for another season ticket because I do love this club. I'll wake up at 5am for work tomorrow, these lot will probably be still laughing and joking about Saturday night instead of trying to rectify their awful performances which frankly are ruining this club.

Is it just me or am I right to feel aggrieved that players, I work hard to be able to afford, to go and watch and support week in and week out are out galivanting around despite turning in a performance like that yesterday. I personally think it is a disgrace.

It's not just you mate, it makes my blood boil as well. I believe players should have a social life, but after such a bad performance, to see them laughing and joking about it gives us loyal supporters another kick in the teeth. I will not believe a word any of this bunch of wasters says anymore, it's all fake and empty.

It is a complete disgrace. If I was a player for this club I would not be out laughing and joking when my side is on the verge of unwanted history. But then again, I care, I can't move on, I can't shut it out of my mind.
