FoxesRoyal Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 I'm Going to my dads to watch it as it should be a really good match i hope!!! Thanks FoxesRoyal
Scow Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 Having weighed up the evidence (well, your informing of the bar and the top-quality prices), it appears as though Walkabout is going to be my destination of choice. At 12PM, which I believe is opening time? Get in. A few of us are getting there for 12pm - shame there's only 2 hours of drinking time before the game.
lcfc_jme Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 A few of us are getting there for 12pm - shame there's only 2 hours of drinking time before the game. Mind if I join you for a beer or two?? At £1.50 a pint, I can imagine that 2 hours drinking before kickoff is going to be plenty of time to calm the fears and numb the pain.
sdm Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 Finding somewhere to watch this in Norwich has been a pain. I don't understand why sky are showing a premiership game at the same time, well i do - but it's fooked things for me. every pub i know is showing that. i've managed to talk a mate into asking his dad who has sky if i can go round his house, hardly ideal but still... better than nothing... anyone in norwich (iknow there are a couple on here) that knows of a pub showing this - please let me know!
renards Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 Has the riverside re-opened yet, Bar Sport in Loughborough will have it on and it even has TVs in the toilets. Riverside Barrow on Soar... About 3 more weeks, new landlord didn't realise what a crap hole it was behind the scenes. Massive amount of work, promises to be good. (that should be worth a pint Neil)

EnigmaticFox Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 I'm coming over to Leicester tomorrow to watch the match with City fans. I don't want to be here alone, in some pub alone in Lincolnshire cheering on the lads Does anyone know where the best atmosphere will be, in the City. And, does any know know if the Dominion Pub in Glenfield will be showing it? Many thanks
act smiley Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 If any of you are stuck in Cardiff, I did a scouting mission and got the following results: Queens Vaults - split the screens, won't be on big screens but one of the championship matches on the regular ones. Old Arcade - probably, depends on who asks for what. Dempseys - One championship match, but probably ipswich hull due to the number of Hull rugby league fans they've had in. Corporation, Canton - It'll be full of Cardiff City fans pre-match, but if you ask for it, it'll go on. If anyone's around and going into town, let us know where youre going to so that we dont all end up in seperate pubs outnumbered by people from Hull watching them on the red button or gloryhunting twats watching a worthless match!

lcfc_jme Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Well, in little over 5 hours, I'll be in Walkabout bar watching City either preserve or create history. I'm hoping it's the former, but I'm not so sure it will be. Still, it promises to be a rollercoaster ride, full of helpful little insights and biased commentary towards the glory-chasing Potters no doubt. Lets hope we can spoil the party. Oh, and Chris "UNBELIEVABLE JEFF" Kamara is a twat of Raj-dwarfing proportions. willy puller.

Fox Mulder Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I'm starting on the booze right now. I'm taking advantage of Tesco's very generous offer of 18 cans of Strongbow in exchange for a crisp tenner. I also see the legendary Kasey Keller is on "Goals on Sunday". This is an omen from above. I don't know what it means, but it means something.
