Here's a manager who has a sensible relationship with the media.

The number of in-depth interviews he gives like this one in the course of a year coul probably be counted on one hand. And it's significant that he gave it at the end of the season, so as not to distract him from more important matters.

It's an example that many in his profession would do well to follow.

He does plenty of press interaction, though. Most of the rest is all carefully measured to wind up the opposition or to unsettle players he wants to sign, but its not like he doesn't talk to them at all.
