LEI.CES.TER Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 I WOULD HAVE TO SAY FILBERT STREET - WHEN I WAS A YOUNG LAD I WAS DOWN THERE EVERY WEEK. NOW I LIVE IN NORTHAMPTON ITS HARDER TO GET UP TO THE WALKERS. I SUPPOSE I JUST RATHER THE ATMOSPHERE AT FILBERT STREET
Guest lcfc80 Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 loved filbert street, absolutly hate everything about the walkers
lildave3 Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Obviously Filbo every, single, fooking time. However, there are worse new grounds than the Walkers and hopefully gradually L/K will establish itself further as the new kop and we'll get some decent atmosphere going at most games and not just the occassional few. I'm sure in 80 years time some city fans will be moaning about how much better the Walkers was than Super-Extreme-McDonalds-Calsberg-Red Bull-Alan Sheehan Tribute- Dairylea Dunkers- Arena Bowl Stadium Extravaganza I like that.
Pegosteve Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Filbert St for me, have stood in 38000 plus in the 70's you can't beat it!!!!
