Filbert Street or Walkers Stadium?

Filbert Street it was just so much different than it is at the Walkers. Like Sparky was saying when the players came out at Filbert Street they came in front of the kop to clap the fans, every player had a song sung about them pre match music was quiet so you could hear the songs going round. The kop started to fill up from about 2:15 ish. Pen 2

I have far less memories of Filbert Street compared to a lot of you, I'd still go for Filbert Street. Although the Walkers looks a lot better, Filbert Street was decent for creating a good atmosphere.

Most supporters were sold to LCFC with Filbert street.

(and are maybe iving in the past)

I pity any fans who have only experieced the Walkers.

Average fan gets a crappy plastic seat, spud field of a pitch, queues at half time and no atmosphere, only ones to benifit are the prawn sandwich brigade

I'm driven by my memories of Filbo, otherwise I' like a lot of others would give supporting a miss

Obviously you support the club, the team, e.t.c, but I think I would struggle to 'get the bug' if I was being introduced to football and supporting Leicester if I only knew the Walkers, Although on the other hand I suppose you would know no other really maybe its because we've experienced Filbert Street that we think the Walkers is shit.

At the end of the day we get higher attendances than alot of clubs in a better position than us, Compare to other grounds and i'm sure even our piss-poor atmosphere is better than alot of other clubs, and it does look and have nice facilities. I think the fact that we had good, very good times at Filbert Street and the fact we hold Filbert Street so close to our hearts that the Walkers will always be in the shadow.

I will never ever forget the last game (The Legends game) when we all sang Alud lang syne and the floodlights when out, and you heard the snapping of seats. I cried

I have a brick from Filbert Street and a few signs.

Obviously Filbert St.

Not even a consideration to say Walkers.

Remember how excited we all were by the prospect of a shiny big new stadium though and we used to be embaressed about the East Stand. How sadly deluded we all were

I think the quality of the football has loads to say about which stadium you prefer. Say for the last 4 or 5 years at Filbo, you'd have been watching the shit we've had to watch now, and for the the time at the Walkers, we'd been winning cups and finishing 7 and 8th in the prem, which do you think you'd prefer?

I really enjoy going to the Walkers, and love me or hate me, I'm a prawn sandwich eater, but tbh, theres as much atmosphere in there as there used to be in J1. I'd still have to pick Filbo though, used to sit in the east stand, block next to the away fans, some amazing memories. 1 - 0 up against Charlton, singing "We're shit and we're beating you", and 0 - 2 down to Man U, singing "We love you leicester", will never forget that.

When I went as a kid I would sit in the family stand. The noise from the Kop was immense and has never been replicated at the walkers. My girlfriend would also kill me if I said anything but Filbert Street.

IF YOUR TRIED AND LONELY

YOUR HEART MIGHT SKIP A BEAT

YOU'LL GET YOUR ****ING HEADS KICKED IN

WHEN YOU WALK DOWN FILBERT STREET

YOU'LL WALK INTO THE SPOIN KOP

YOU'LL HEAR A MIGHTY ROAR

**** OFF YOU FOREST BASTARDS!,

WE ARE THE LEICESTER BOYS!

Those were the days.

I remember some study done late 90's where we had the loudest fans in the prem
