I hope your not comparing Hume to the those players because He is miles away and will never play at a higher standard than Championship!

A very hard working average player at best and 1.2m is a great deal for Leicester, end of!!

I don't think 1.2m for our 24 yr old best player for 3yrs

is a great deal .

1.6m stearman - yes

1.1m mccawley - yes

2.0m ? mattock -yes

1.2m hume - no way

who in todays market will we get to replace him for 1.2m ?

As far as I am concerned they will not be thought of fondly but as part of the worst LCFC side in history.If Hume was our best player & we have been asset stripped of him by Barnsley it shows how rubbish we have become & no wonder we were relegated !

Let the rest of them clear off & lets start with a clean slate, my only worry is that is Pearson the right man to assemble a team for a promotion challenge ? At the end of the day we have got no choice but to give him a chance.

Some people built Hume up like he was something brilliant & should be in the premier league just because he ran around a lot !

he has ended up at Barnsley because he is a bottom half of div1/league2 player at best.

Let the next overrated overpaid failure go as soon as possible with there big ego's & non performances to back it up.

There has always been at least 1 player at the club I really liked & would like to keep & watch play but out of the last few desperate seasons I couldn't care less about any of them .Even in the Pleat era we had better players.Mcallister/Newell/Walsh of course to name but a few ,not 1 player here over the last few seasons could lace there boots & they all played in a struggling side. I would go as far as to say Nicky Cross was better than any forward we have had here in the last few seasons.

The one person that seemed to put in effort was Hume. OK so he didn't have the talent of some of the other players mentioned but at the same time he has never had the guidance of some of the better managers we have had over the years.And at least he took the trouble to acknowledge the fans.

I can't bring myself to enter into this revisionist nonsense of slagging off everyone who has left just because they have left.

I'm looking forward to seeing Maxi Gradel terrorise the league one defences like he did last year at Bournemouth
