Benji Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 Anyone gone through this process (solicitor) or even worse trying/tried to find a bar pupillage?
Guest Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 I can't even get a mini-pupillage, so don't ask me. Meanwhile, the resident "can't do owt wrong for trying, sitting on a first and would have to balls up seriously to end up with a 2:1" has had three offers for a training contract. I think there lies your answer.
Alexikokopops Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 A couple of my friends have done it. Three actually. I think.

Anish Posted 25 August 2008 Posted 25 August 2008 Benji, I've been through it all and have experienced all the rejections that come with it! I'm now doing my TC so if you've got any questions or want some advice give me a PM.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 25 August 2008 Posted 25 August 2008 Excuse my ignorance, but what is a Training contract.
Anish Posted 25 August 2008 Posted 25 August 2008 Excuse my ignorance, but what is a Training contract. It's a 2 year contract with a firm of solicitors which you are required to complete in order to become a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
