I know that website, I got the Scoreline City one from there; my size is a rare thing though.

I don't think he'll be selling for a loss, mind you.

If you ever get another small/large boys 1982 England, or The City Ind Coope shirt, be sure to tip me the wink first.

Ive got John ONeil's shirt from the mid eighties that he threw into the crowd on the final day of the season at Oxford, it's got John Bull on the front and the number 5 onthe back.

Could you imagine this shirt with a Topps Tiles logo on the front? Me neither.

I was at that match when John O'Neil tossed his shirt into the crowd. I remember it clearly. You should hang onto it, or sell it to me for a fiver.

I couldn't begin to guess a price?

Whats your lowest proce, melrose??

I've been looking round the net and I reckon 50 quid is about right Ajax. I wish it was Bobby Moore's or Pele's shirt, they are going for shed loads of money!

I would never sell a shirt like that. Never.

Strange I should stumble upon this thread on the day that I went to visit my mum & she had cleared the attic out & gave me a bin bag full of all my old city shirts plus hundreds of old programmes from the 70's thru to this decade.

Not sure what to do with them some of the shirts are in good condition. Earliest one is a white scoreline which is a bit manky. Then there's 2 bukta ones the blue one is in top condition I loved that shirt.Loads of fox leisure inc a good condition gold one with LCFC on the v neck can't remember the year but it was when Speedie played. A decent jade & navy one . good condition long sleeved one all in all about 12 shirts. Most are large as I liked them baggy & was a bit bigger than now I wouldn't dream of buying anything that big now strictly medium for all tops.

Don't really use ebay & don't know whether to chuck them up the attic with the programmes or try & get rid but wouldn't know who or where to.

I know of a good home for the Scoreline and Bukta ones, if either a small adult or large boys size.

In my experience of watching ebay auctions, they tend to be sold from one dealer to another, and if you manage, as a fan who wants a shirt, to get one, you are bloody lucky. This is before anything Ajax said earlier in this thread.

They are large adult I think most of them .I am a medium & could get away with the bukta ones without being swamped .Some of them seem huge now tho far too big for me I must have lost loads of weight !

My first shirt was the first Fox Leisure shirt, and it swamps me. :(

Cheers, had already seen that, but I am not paying £35, no siree. I may be desperate, but I am not paying that much when it doesn't even look like the real deal (the England badge on the original is larger, and there is no label). In fact, I begrudge paying that much for the real deal. I will get one, and I will get it at the right price for me, I'll just have to be patient. But thanks all the same, I do appreciate it, even if I am a whinging old mare!!

You wouldn't get an original for less than £40.

Trust me

One is bound to slip through the net sooner or later, and when it does, I will be there waiting.

I wouldn't be in this position if my mother had gone out and bought me one like I told her to.

What's the deal with the early 80s Ind Coope pinstripe home shirt? Is one ever going to spring up?

Not if I find it first.

I've got a scorline shirt. I got it from the auction when the old main stand got demolished at filbo. was apparently used as a practice shirt, has no. 12 on the back. Only trouble is when I wear it they mostly lose! I will not wear it again until after our first home defeat. maybe then the curse will be lifted.

oh yes, it also makes you sweat your wotnots off. :sweating:

That Ind coope shirt was really nice with the pinstripes I bought the retro version but it is nowhere near as smart. THe gold & green away version was pretty garish !

Ive been looking for ages for the pin stripe city kit from 83 season i think. I even like the away green and yellow one. Anybody know where you can get either the home or away shirt? Ebay hasnt had any for ages.

Keep on looking, one will turn up one day. I waited years to get mine (the green and yellow one), but it was worth the wait. Be warned though, they aren't loose fitting!
