Lovejoy Posted 24 September 2008 Posted 24 September 2008 My call would be to go for a more creative central midfielder. It will be interesting to see what happens when Clemence returns to the team as he did show brief glimpses of controlling play last season. Problem with Clemence though is he thinks he's playing rugby. Has he ever passed the ball forwards? It's always sideways or backwards .

Given the new found vigour in some of the retained players from last season (Howard, Fryatt, Hendo), maybe Pearson can sort him out as well. I enjoyed the way he created a lot of the play in the early games of last year. Admittedly, this was not always on show but enough to think he could have a pivotal role to play for us still.
lildave3 Posted 24 September 2008 Posted 24 September 2008 I'd say our squad is pretty much complete for now, although a striker that can finish wouldn't go amiss.
