My reply, received today...

Thank you for your recent e mail regarding season ticket offers.

My intention is to speak to you personally and I would like to do this at the end of this week. I have gathered some information and just need to clarify something and I will be in touch about the offers.

It is fair to say that we need to catch up with the offers but I will bring you up to date when we speak.

Best wishes

Peter

:D I'll let you know at the end of the week!

Someone needs to seeing as I am now being ignored by Jones for asking the same question on a bi-weekly basis!:D

:D

What do you think my chances are of receiving a call from Mr Jones by the end of the week?

I'm reckoning I stand more of a chance of convincing Mrs.D to let me buy a beast like this in the same time-frame.

There we go - she agreed...so I guess anything is possible!

I have a nice GSXR1000 for sale if MrsD has put you on a budget!

With one miracle happened, let's see if my phone rings with the other... :fc:

Shhh...

At the moment she knows no more than a monthly repayment figure that I invented for the sake of winning an argument. By the time the true cost is discovered I'll be scraping pegs in the Black Country :D

Like your thinking! Also, look in to the benefits of a personal contract purchase (PCP) scheme if you are considering funding. It's been around for years for cars and is now offered in the bike market. That'll help with your arguement

Maybe that's one of the exciting benefits Peter wants to talk to me about. By cancelling a couple of weekend matches, this gives us more oppertunity to partake in the odd scratch!

Acknowledging that this is now prolonging a topic wholly unrelated to City or season tickets...that's exactly the route I'm going to go down. I thought about picking up a nearly new bike - but all of the Adventures with the spec I am looking at are going for the same price as a new model.

The final clincher, as if one were needed, was me pointing out how much a month I'll save on pre-match beer if I ride to most games - amazingly the bike works out cheaper. biker_h4h.gif

Well, after my initial correspondence from Peter Jones stating that he would contact me at the end of the week to talk through 'exciting monthly benefits', guess what.......nothing!

Not exactly good supporter relations is it?!?

Has anyone else tried/got anywhere?

I will keep going

As I said - I received that response again and again ...and then he simply stopped replying and has ignored the last two emails I sent him about it.

I'm going to phone Hoos instead.

If they gave a decent reason and said 'it's all off, sorry' I wouldn't mind as much as being treated like a cvnt.
