davieG Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 Leicester City U18 4-0 Cardiff City U18 Posted on: Sat 27 Sep 2008 Leicester City's academy side cruised to a 4-0 victory against Cardiff City at the Belvoir Drive training ground on Saturday. Goals from Ricky Sappleton, Adam Vasey (Pictured), Nathan Hicks and Billy Kee helped the Foxes record back-to-back victories in the F.A. Premier Academy League. Both teams started brightly but it was Vasey who had the first clear opportunity - the midfielder working well with Sappleton to test the goalkeeper from 25 yards. Billy Kee tried his luck from long range before a Vasey corner in the 40th minute found Sappleton who headed the Foxes in front from close range. Elliott Chamberlain saw his effort ruled out for a foul shortly after the restart and Sian Bolger's header moments later failed to trouble the Cardiff goalkeeper. Vasey doubled Leicester's lead in the 70th minute after connecting with a Robbie Burns cross before turning provider - the midfielder feeding Hicks who put the game beyond the visitor's reach. Kee rounded off the scoring five minutes from time after substitute Ben Milnes picked out the striker in front of goal. Leicester City's academy side return to action next Saturday when they travel to Birmingham City. City: Ambusics, Cobb, Bolger, Rowe-Turner (Hoban 83), O'Neill, John (Chamberlain 45), Hicks, Vasey, Burns, Kee, Sappleton (Milnes 71)

He fetured against Quorn in last seasons pre-season and looked very good for a young kid but not heard much since, wondered if anyone knows much about him.
AmericanScott Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Is Vasey the ginger one who looks like a future pedo on FM08?
