dandannieldanok Posted 30 October 2008 Author Posted 30 October 2008 I've added BigGibbo, Joe and Ross Kemp. i'm confused. what happens between thursday and monday. does it just count for who you have invested in at close of play on thursday or do other people you have bought and sold during the week count Dividends are payed out in the early hours of thursday morning so you will only get payments on the people you have shares in at that moment. To divulge more on dividends, to get the full payment you need to have shares in the person or people from monday night until thursday morning. For instance, this is the dividend list from this morning, if you had 100 shares in Harry Redknapp from monday night until this morning you would have a payment of 100 multiplied by his dividend which is 6.4051, so £640.51. Dividends are actually worked out over the full week so if a sportsperson has been in the papers a lot over the weekend they'll still get reasonably high dividend amount on the thursday. Is there a limit to how many people you have shares in ? , I have shares in 10 people at the moment No limit as far as I know, but my tip would be to put all your money in just one or two people, you generally make money more quickly. This is helpful when deciding who will be a good investment at any given time. I also urge you all to take part in this weekends win bonuses, they are by far the easiest away of making money! Pick a driver that will finish 11th-15th Yes and there is also a cricket bonus (stanford vs england) and a rugby league bonus (england vs australia). It is possible to have a go at them all considering the deadlines are at different times and my advice would be to go for it.

Sorry if I'm sticking my nose in, tell me to get lost if you want , but you don't need to get your win bonus shares now. If you buy them a minute before the deadline and sell them a minute after the deadline you will still be eligible. It also means you can invest all your money for each win bonus, rather than it being shared if you get me. I'll stop interfering now

Does that make sense? The market updates every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 past the hour and 20 to the hour. This is the place to keep up with all movements and just keep clicking 'more shares' in the top right corner to expand the lists further. As for O'Sullivan, like anyone else his price and whether he goes up or down relies on whether people are investing in him or not. Considering he is playing tonight I'm presume that will tempt a few into investing him so maybe he'll go up but there are no guarantees. Having said that, one guarantee I will make is that Tony Adams is a sure bet at the minute, when you get to the stage I'm at you can influence the market slightly. I've got over £26million pounds invested in him and having shot to the top of the movers list it's encouraging people to invest in him. Obviously I don't hold much sway but I've got a hell of a lot of money in him.

All dependent on amount of shares. If you have 3000 shares and you win you'll receive £3000. A pound a share.
