And Mick revealed it was due to Stears arriving late for the game. "Richard Stearman was down to play but he arrived late for the game", he added. "He had problems as we've seen with all the snow on the roads and accidents and was stuck on the motorway." "I think he'd phoned some of the lads but i hadn't got a call and i couldn't hang on any longer before doing my team talk." "I just didn't know how long he was going to be." "Neill Collins wasn't going to play but as a result he did and i though he was excellent." "It doesn't matter how late Stears was - If you're going on holiday to Bermuda it doesn't matter if you're a minute late or longer." "There's no problem with him now but the only problem might be that Neill and Jason Shackell played very well."
