I was with them for all of two weeks before I fooked them off. They block access on all P2P networks apart from about three i the morning until noon. They will also deny it. They also partially block Xbox Live. Pipex / Tiscali suck big time with their fair use / traffic shaping policy. How long you been with them?

How long you been with them? about a year, never really bothered me but my music collection is getting a bit dated so wanted to start downloading agian who would you recommend? a couple of me mates are with O2 and say they are good?

They all have their fair usage policies though and if an isp gets busy and uses up its quota bought from BT then they all restrict traffic in some way. Sky are ment to be good too (if you have sky) and someone said Orange. I am with ADSL24 who aren't cheap but you get good down and up speeds. They guarantee not to restrict or shape traffic. It really does depend what you use the internet for.

hairy Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 The engineer from Bulldog, who were bought out by Tiscali in the summer, told me what Tiscali are like during one of my daily calls to them asking why their service was so poor. You must be one of the lucky ones.
