moseeds Posted 7 December 2008 Posted 7 December 2008 Emile Heskey for sure - he lived round the corner from my house when he was breaking through and funnily enough he embodies Leicester as a city in my opinion. To outsiders he's seen as a boring, bumbling bit of uselessness that nobody really pays any attention to. But for me and I'm sure many others he's a vital hardworking engine going about his business without show or cry for attention. A black lad justifying his claim in the national team yet again, coming from a multi-coloured city that's trying to break into the national conciousness. Unpretentious, honest and loyal - I'm not sure if I'm describing Heskey or Leicester but as far as I'm concerned they're the same I really hope he finishes his last game in professional football with us.
