On Levein...

He's dumb. I'm so pissed of at the team and manager today it's unreal.

But Honestley I am 100% behind Craig Levein to get things right, but we must concentrate on next season not the future. We need to go up next year.

What happened in exactly 18 minutes to make you change your mind?

Under Micky we would be much higher in the table then we are now....

Unfortunately, that's a statement than no-one can qualify.

MA walked away from City 6 months ago, can't we just let him go, move on and look forward? All these if's, but's and assumptions are pointless. We are where we are so let's just deal with it, eh?

He didn't walk away, the fans pushed him. But Honestley I am 100% behind Craig Levein to get things right, but we must concentrate on next season not the future. We need to go up next year.

No. The first bit of real criticism he gets and he does a runner - we supported him during the first relegation, and the second, and the debacle in La Manga and then when the fans start to really question his decisions as a manager he has no answer but to walk away.

All the best managers go through patches of criticism from the fans - think of MON, and Ferguson, for example, they got abused to hell and back during their early periods at their repsective clubs - but the they stuck with it and worked their way through. They showed strength of chracter when it was most needed. Sadly, in my opinion, MA capitulated too easily.

Anyhow, like I said, it's all in the past, let's just leave it there.

I used to catch that very same bus every day (twice a day!) to go to uni and back when I lived in Coventry! Wierd!;)

Are you for real? You are having a laugh aren't you? You are not telling me that you don't know what Micky thought of the 'support' he got from you lot are you? Just look at how many times La Manga is shoved in my face on these boards whenever I stick up for Adams.

Think before shooting off your primitive mouth.

I'm stating the facts as I see them. MA was not overly criticised by the fans during the La Manga affair, even if he was, it wasn't a reflection of his management abilities on the field. From what I remember, MA and the players were treated quite fairly by the fans during the whole affair.

Let's get one thing clear - MA did not leave because of La Manga. More importantly, the fans did not want to see MA leave because of what happened at La Manga either. MA came under the most criticism from the fans because of what was happening on the pitch, he chose to walk away rather than fight to prove himself.

Anyway, whatever, it's old news, it's irrelevant. I'm bowing out of this thread as I really can't see any point in it.

Trying to switch the argument are we...? As a Chimp you must be even more literal minded than Cambridge so you probably didn't quite get Micky's 'wish' to move to a 'more boring club than Leicester' at his resignation press conference do you?

Yeah, take a hike back to your jungle Chimp. And while you're at it take those fickle boneheads who helped to ruin our season with you.

I think its you who's trying to switch the argument Mr Bing as you have STILL not answered my questions...

This pearler is a little over committed. Even I wouldn't pledge unquestioning allegiance to a single man. The club is always bigger than the man. And it doesn't cause me any pain to say that LCFC was always far bigger than Micky Adams.

But for this poster Adams appears to be at least the equal of LCFC. Very touching, but even I would call this statement a wanton exhibition of brown nosed loyalty:

'I would never want to see the back of MA...'

Are you all squirming comfortably?

It was me!!!

After taking a combination of painkillers and alcohol, I uttered those words in my delierium.

Now can we shut up, and get on with things?
