Guest Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 Fair points, maybe a little bash at mine is the best option.Never been up town on NYE so I wouldn't know. The drinks/taxi's etc really go up that much? Taxi's usually charge double fair on NYE. I did the Town Hall experience as a wee nipper. Draining the fountain didn't stop me from dancing in it. Doing "The Conga" was also quite good, although I remember some kind of Brian Little chant accompanying it. D.O.C.K.A.G.E It's not me that needs convincing.
syston_fox Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 I haven't just read this.*Think cheap night* Could be a thought, expensive though, yes? Apart from entry which was about £10, I don't think it was any more excessive than normal. Taxi back's not to bad if enough people pile into it or ring round for quotes well in advance (i.e last week ) Sadly I doubt it'll live up to last year though!
