GLC Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 The Dirty Dancing legend gives an interview about his cancer battle… Patrick Swayze has said he may only live for another two years as he battles pancreatic cancer. The actor has given his first interview to US TV since being diagnosed with the disease. He admitted: "There's a lot of fear here… Yeah, I'm scared. Yeah, I'm angry. Yeah, I'm [asking], 'Why me?' “I’ve never been one to run from a challenge. You can bet that I'm going through hell. And I've only seen the beginning of it." The star of Dirty Dancing said it would be “wishful thinking” to believe that he would live for another five years. With optimism though the star added: “Am I dying? Am I giving up? Am I on my death bed? Am I saying goodbye to people? No way!" Since developing cancer Swayze has been filming an FBI drama The Beast and has refused painkillers because of his acting. The star revealed all this to US host Barbara Walters for an ABC show
