Nod.E Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Look up old archives from conversations on msn, stored in your computer? They aren't in the 'My Chat Logs' folder in My documents - I'm talking about the list of every conversation you've had, and each archive if you've spoke to one person so many times that one archive can't hold it. Whoever knows, please do tell me. It would probably make my minute, or something.

If the archives are in a folder you might be able to find them by clicking Start>Search>files and folders and then type a word that might be in the file or folder. That's how I look for stuff I can't find.
Maybes Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 Are you sure you even save them? Yeah you can. I dont think it automatically saves them though. Could be wrong mind.
lildave3 Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 Yeah you can. I dont think it automatically saves them though. Could be wrong mind. I know you can, I was just asking if he does. I don't save mine.
Unit Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 I know you can, I was just asking if he does.I don't save mine. Yeah pretty sure you're right, i don't save mine either. I think it asks you if you want them saved or not everytime you go on a differnet computer so unless they're where they should be, i doubt they're there. ask the person you had the conversation with? they might have a chat log
Nod.E Posted 10 January 2009 Author Posted 10 January 2009 I know you can, I was just asking if he does.I don't save mine. Mine save automatically somehow. I know they're there somewhere because when an archive fills up it asks me if I want to save it, and obviously it asks me where I want to save it to, and so it comes up with a list of every other archive in there. I just want a bloody history archive to fill up again so I can have a look where they're kept - but that could take ages.

Ultra Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 They're stored in a folder - which I can't remember the name of. I've kept conversations for the last five years - in case the other party becomes someone really famous.. EDIT - the folder should be called something like "My Received Files"...
