ploddy Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Me and a few other Leicester lads are off to watch Coalville on Saturday in the FA Vase. They're playing Spennymoor United of Upnorthshire and I think admission is only a fiver. A few lads on here seem to and watch them regular like so they will know better. There's a bit of banter on the Coalville website from the Spennymoor "Barmy Army" so it should be a good laugh and I remember Coalville being a decent little town for pubs. Managed to find this map on the website for anyone like me who has never been there. The ground looks close to the bus stops and the pubs which is always good http://www.coalvilletownfc.co.uk/posters/owenstreet.pdf
Floating Fox Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Going to be quality. I really hope they put in a good performance. Spennymoor are, just, the better side. But we're unbeat at home this season in all competitions including a match against a team in the Conference North. We have our own Bernie at CV too. Just he is 45 years younger and doesn't wear face paint.
