StanSP Posted 24 January 2009 Posted 24 January 2009 Aside from the main game of the day at the Walkers Stadium, there are 32 teams left in the FA Cup. The Fixtures today are Hartlepool v West Ham Chelsea v Ipswich Doncaster v Aston Villa Hull City v Millwall Kettering v Fulham Portsmouth v Swansea Sheff United v Charlton Sunderland v Blackburn Torquay v Coventry Watford v Crystal Palace West Brom v Burnley Wolves v Middlesbrough And Later on: Man Utd vs Tottenham. Thoughts on today's matches, the first of which gets underway in just under half an hour, would be welcome . I can see definite wins for Chelsea, Sheff United, Coventry (). The other ties are harder to call, but who knows, it's the FA Cup after all! Anything can happen! Enjoy your day!
lavrentis Posted 24 January 2009 Posted 24 January 2009 ITV are mentioning Hartlepool like its a bloody pub team.

Stinkenzo Posted 24 January 2009 Posted 24 January 2009 Gooood. Now we are out I want as many Premier League teams through as possible. why?
Uncle Albert Posted 24 January 2009 Posted 24 January 2009 How come? why? Because children it makes a much more entertaining game - thats what I think anyways. Better standard.
StanSP Posted 24 January 2009 Author Posted 24 January 2009 Because children it makes a much more entertaining game - thats what I think anyways. Better standard. But it gets kinda boring like that. It's nice to see lower league teams in the Cup - e.g. Kettering and Torquay - it would be great to see these teams go far. Shows how far you can go with a bit of spirit.

There not there for spirit they are there for the money. Spirit helps but money is the main incentive. Utd v Liverpool is the dream final now. Chelsea v Arsenal would be good.
