What error message do u get when you try to uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs?

Is there a folder in the 'Program Files' folder called 'Nokia' or similar?

Have you tried rebooting and then trying a reinstall?

Couple of things to try:

1) Make sure the phone is not plugged into your computer.

2) Rename the Nokia folder to Nokia-Old (or something).

3) Open task manager and see if there are any Nokia tasks running. If there are then end the tasks.

Try to reistall the software.

If that doesn't work then you need to get down and dirty with the Windows Registry. This can be a bit daunting if you're not that good with computers and it can also screw up your PC if you make a mistake. I can offer some help but only if you feel confident about editing the registry.

Alternatively, you could trawl the Nokia support site and Nokia users forums for advice from people that are more familiar with the software.

If you're running XP you could always try System Restore (Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore)

Pick a date prior to when you deleted / lost the Nokia app

This would be a lot safer than digging in the registry - especially if you don't know what you're doing in there
