So I've been to my control panel etc...taken the file from my documents folder, clicked update avatar. It shows my updated avatar on that screen, but when I go through forum threads which I've commented on, it still shows my LCFC shirt...??

What I usually do with old avatars is to find a post of yours, right click on the picture and hit "View Image". On the page that shows just the image by itself, refresh and it should show you the real thing. Once you go around the forum, you should see the right image. That or just keep refreshing the page. Whatever.
