davieG Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 Leicester City midfielder Matt Oakley has been nominated for the Powerade League One Player of the Month Award for January. Oakley made five league appearances for the Foxes during the period in question - with City registering four victories and one draw. Other players nominated are Aaron Wilbraham (MK Dons), Gary Hooper (S****horpe) and Mark Yeates (Colchester United). The winner will be announced at 6pm on Monday on Sky Sports' Big League Weekend 2.

STUHILL Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 Oakley has been brilliant for us this season. Not your typical 'gobby' captain but leads by example in his performances every week!! Hope he gets it but the MK striker is also a class act!
