SOCCERROO FOX Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 Indeed This is why there needs to be light shed on this Red label
cisono Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 This is why there needs to be light shed on this Red label I agree. I knew there was a red beer with over 10% alcohol content in Italy (Moretti). I wonder if this could be a Peroni equivalent? http://www.brewpalace.com/BeerDetails.asp?...;DrillValue=508
Darkzzz_ Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 I like both Moretti and Peroni (Nastro as I call it). My girlfriends dads restaurant does both. I am always drinking his profits on my nightly visits.

Darkzzz_ Posted 6 February 2009 Posted 6 February 2009 Does he have the reds as well? He doesn't do the red label at the restaurant any more because people didn't buy it, but I usually get some when I like from his supplier. Home supplies is always good. If you are a guest in my house you are usually offered Italian beer. If you don't mind me asking Nathko, where's you father in laws restaurant and what type of cuisine does he do and is he any good??? I don't mind you asking at all mate, his restaurant is in Kettering and it is Italian cuisine, He seems to do well and people always come back. My girlfriend and her family are from the Molise region in Italy and the restaurant and the cuisine is based on that region. I can confirm that they don't make Pizza anywhere like they do in this region, I have tried them north and south and they aren't as good in my opinion. Damn I want a pizza now.

Damn I want a pizza now. so do I! For those who don't know, Molise is the second smallest region in Italy (after Aosta). I haven't tried their pizza, but I'll be sure to pass by (and send my brother too) at some point (though a bit out of the way for me)
