Corky Posted 20 February 2009 Posted 20 February 2009 Oh look, Mr Optimistic has arrived..... So you're not a woman then? We probably do need a playmaker, but King has done a fine job in his first season as a first-team player, and Oakley looks much better on the right.

Assuming promotion, (hows that for optimism, eh) we will be building a new squad next season, few of our current squad will get a game so our performance next season will largely depend on who we get in and that in turn depends on the funds available. Decent creative players do not come cheap and although King might step up to the role that is asking a lot of him, however I would very much like to see him given the chance. If we continue to play 4-4-2, he will need someone more dynamic than either Berner or Oakley alongside him. Of course we could play a different system, stranger things have happened.
