BoneDog Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 When you're getting bummed by some hench geezer in the nick I'm sure it'll be a great consolation to you that you saved face against crewe. Last time I went Crewe was about '92 with Gresley Rovers in the FA Cup. I had to go in the Crewe stand on the left from away fans so I started singin Gresley songs and the old bill took me to the away end. Great day apart from we got beat 7-1
Guest Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 I know it was on their 'patch' (Which does make a big difference to the arguement I spose) but Stoke had no problem when we got relegated. They don't need an excuse. They invaded the pitch after we reached the play off final back in '96. Bit of a shame for Garry Parker, who had been throwing his entire kit into the away end, and was left standing in front of us in his pants, with the Stoke fans charging towards us!! It's not really an image I want to keep in my head, to be honest.

Good plan. I will stand in front of the away end and through my clothes into it too.
Ultra Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 It's theoretically possible for us to be promoted at Millwall. Who'd be up for a pitch invasion there?
Daggers Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 Who'd be up for a pitch invasion there? Only if I'm dressed as a big pink fairy
Tevez Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 Fancy Dress = Farce. Pitch Invasion at someone elses ground = Farce.
Ultra Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 Fancy Dress = Farce.Pitch Invasion. = Farce. Facts.
Ei Ei Ei O Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 Come on, what's wrong with a fancy dress pitch invasion at Crewe? There's no unwritten rule about not going on to someone elses pitch (although there is obviously a written one). I'd love to see a ridiculous fancy dress pitch invasion to celebrate the fact it was ridiculous to be in this division in the first place. I aint worried about Crewe getting fined, they'd be so many invasions that weekend in the football league the FA wont know where to start. Oh and no self respecting Crewe fan would hit a Hare Krishna would they?
