Teeno Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 He sat in L1 last night. As I ran back up to myseat to get me scalf I spotted him and had a chat with him on the way down. He's a sound bloke and I think a lot of people must have complained about the police/stewards up there so he was obviously checking it out. He told me he was really impressed with the atmosphere in L1 and said that all the rumours about the block being closed down are rubish. Top bloke if you ask me.
Louise Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 Probably because of Gary Silke's article in the Merc criticising the SAG. I think Tim sat in L1 once last year as well.

john_lcfc Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 knighton matt i have been in L1 and the kop this season and when i went in L1 you cant hear the kop and when i go in the kop you can barely hear L1. The away fans cant hear the kop either apart from when everyone joins in. But i think is the kopites migrated to L1 the away fans/ players would be intimidated and we could turn it into a fortress. <_< <_< <_< <_<
FNQ Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 We tried to move our season tickets to L1 today, for next season, but there weren't enough available together for us. We're now in K1. I suggest you do the same if there isn't enough seats for you in L1. It's £40 or so more, but a better view than L1 and I assume there is still a fair bit of atmosphere.

Jonbluefox9 Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 I have to say since the Kop started to sing loudly and more often at games, L1 hasn't been as loud as it usually is. They now seem to sing for the first half and not really in the 2nd half.

Foxes_Trust Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 You actually get the best sound in the West Stand None being made in the stand itself, but you can hear both L1 & the Kop. Overall this season the Kop has been louder on the times I've been in the Directors Box on duty for the Trust
