Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 April 2009 Posted 3 April 2009 Loved the first album - Dreams. On first listen, the second album - Rules - is even more to my taste. Won't be everyone's cup of tea but there must be a few fans on here. Very minimal groove-based dance music using a full band. It's Erlend Oye from Kings of Convenience and a bunch of Germans, for those who haven't heard of them before.
Lillehamring Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 me like haven't heard the new album yet, but been listening to Erlend Øye's 'black session' boot and it's in the same style, pretty good... still prefer KoC, myself....amazing to think how much good music has come out of a rain-drenched city of 250k people
The People's Hero Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 I love the Kings of Convenience. It's something to do with them, right? Edit: Should have read properly. Have some of the WBA stuff. Don't like it as much as KoC, but some of it is brilliant.
