hairy Posted 2 June 2009 Posted 2 June 2009 Remember watching the original many years ago when i was at College, and fund it hilarious. At College everyone pretended to have tourettes and swear at each other. Same. It was a cult TV show for teenagers. You're right though difficult to have and live with
Guest Bilo Posted 2 June 2009 Posted 2 June 2009 I watched it on Sunday. I felt a bit guilty laughing, but at the same time you cannot help but feel compassion for John because he's basically a nice bloke who's been dealt a very cruel hand. It was good to see the younger lad seemingly have a better time than John did at his age, so I suppose that shows that people are a bit more tolerant and understanding than they were 20 years ago.The bit that made me laugh most was when he was waiting to cross the road, and kept involuntarily trying to make his dog cross when there was a car coming, but the dog was bright enough to ignore him until he started crossing the road himself What the programme failed to mention is that that was his seventh dog in a month.
