DJ Barry Hammond Posted 21 June 2009 Posted 21 June 2009 I've been quite interested in the media soap opera that has been deciding the future of formula 1 this weekend, so much so I've been reading a fair bit about it. With searching for the latest update however, I was suprised to find stories of a similar nature as the current one, not only once before, but twice. (And no doubt there may be more.) Breakaway Fears Alleyed - 2003 Paul Stoddard (Minardi) on potential break away - 2004 And finally this weekends installment of what seems to be regular threat So it's understandable why Mr Mosley and Bernie treated this current threat with a little bit of contempt. But purhapse after two threats, this third will be the final straw and the teams not unified by FOTA will carry this threat through. I've also heard a lot of talk about the split between American racing, and how the better series lost out through not having the crown jewels race of the Indy 500 - can anyone on here throw a bit more light on that situation and the compraisons here? Regardless of what happens, considering the amount of F1 fans on here, I'm suprised the topic hasn't cropped up yet. Should provide for a lively debate!
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 21 June 2009 Author Posted 21 June 2009 Boring ****ers! Not even one person speculating on the tracks the new regium could possibly use!
