Computer Display problem. Advice needed

Hi Today when going to browse on the internet the screen sizes varies depending on what site you visit. Foxestalk is fine and is readable, go to another site and you can only get half the site as the writing is so big. The pc was fine when I used it a few days ago. As you can guess I know nothing about computers, it is a dell with windows xp.

Can somebody advise me please

Have you just done the recent upgrade on IE? Version 8?

If you're on FireFox;

Try pressing Ctrl + 0;

Or hold Ctrl and scroll up / down with your mouse wheel;

Or View > Zoom.

If you're on Internet Explorer, get Firefox.

I use Firefox already, not sure about IE 8 as all the downloads run autmatically.
