Where should i "sit"

Its getting closer to my visit ...(i know you all cant wait)..

I will be at the game on the 17th against the sheep, where should i go for the best atmosphere..L1?..The Kop?..the family stand?

My better half will be coming along too, so i dont want to be surrounded by chavs and losers...but i also would like some level atmosphere, where is the best place to be?

Im an L1er but all the Kopites would probably recommend the Kop! just avoid the West and North Stand and you should be ok

It's been asked several times in the football forum, and just degenerates into a Kop v L1 battle, which is why I am not moving it. It's also why I'm closing this thread now. If you want to read what's been said before, I suggest doing a search.

Where you want to sit depends on who you're with, and what you expect from the game. If price is the deciding factor, then just look at the prices on the OS. If it's atmosphere, then K1 is going to be the nearest you get, as I think L1 is still STH only. The Kop does generate some noise, but also has more than its fair share of whingers. If you want somewhere that is supposedly kiddy friendly, then the North Stand. If you don't mind just sitting an watching the game, then the West Stand is fine, but more pricier, unless you sit in the cheap seats.
