Lillehamring Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 just thought i'd dredge this link up - for those of you who like your nerdy stats... it was pretty realistic last season: http://www.statto.com/football/odds/rating...ue-championship
Webbo Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 1 Newcastle United 2 Sheffield United 3 Middlesbrough 4 West Bromwich Albion 5 Reading 6 Preston North End 7 Cardiff City 8 Ipswich Town 9 Leicester City 10 Swansea City 11 Watford 12 Sheffield Wednesday 13 Nottingham Forest 14 Bristol City 15 Blackpool 16 Queens Park Rangers 17 Doncaster Rovers 18 Crystal Palace 19 Barnsley 20 Derby County 21 Coventry City 22 Peterborough United 23 Plymouth Argyle 24 S****horpe United That looks very realistic. I'd still like to think we could make the play offs though.
FilboFox Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Based on their rankings, we'd finish 8th with 64 pts... that's not at all bad and I'd certainly be happy with that. Then again, they think that Newcastle will win the league and that Sheff Utd (???) and Middlesbrough will be up there too so I'm taking this prediction with a pinch of salt.
Uncle Phil Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 I'm liking Plymouth and Peterborough going down. Wouldn't mind Scunny staying up though, at the expense of, say, Cov. If that could happen and we get a decent highish midtable finish, I'll be a very happy Uncle.

Chromophobia Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 i'd be happy with that. but i don't think newcastle will finish top, depends what ends up happening there really. derby and peterborough will finish higher than that, more around mid table with us and watford and blackpool will finish lower.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Derby will never finish that far down and neither will Watford be anywhere near the top half of the league.
