Raj Posted 2 November 2009 Author Posted 2 November 2009 Better late than never, just donated. Well done Raj, and a great time as well. Cheers Monk. Appreciate it My laptop isn't letting me use any search engines, so sorry if this is slightly off-topic but something has happened recently concerning somebody I love. I don't really know enough about cancer so this question might sound silly.About breast cancer, all I hear is that you can get through it if it's found and treated early enough. If its too late, it's too late. My question is how late is too late? Or, are there any links around the internet that could increase my knowledge of the subject? Really all i'm looking for are survival rates. Thanks Sorry to hear that. Like hairy said its all about the stage the C is detected. My mums was detected early (Stage 1) BUT it was a very aggressive tumour(ie BIG). The stage and aggression determines the course of treatment and chances of survival. Dont fret about it until you get the Oncologists report and course of treatment they suggest. It sounds silly but breast C(If caught early) is one of the better cancers to get. My Mums oncologist said that to her(she had Uterus cancer)
Raj Posted 10 November 2009 Author Posted 10 November 2009 My Mums having her last Chemo(4th one) next week but the last one took her toll and i'll be glad when its all over. Then she has to undergo Radiotheraphy.....
