According to a good friend of his he is very upbeat and going about as normal, it's been detected early and hasn't spread, he should be fine.

I really do hope so, one of the best vocalists of our time, just massively underrated. When I saw him with Heaven And Hell earlier this year it was simply stunning.

I can have the pleasure of saying that I have seen him perform live... at the grand old age of 67. It was at Sonisphere and Heaven and Hell were awesome.
