Newcastle_Fox Posted 13 August 2004 Share Posted 13 August 2004 Can remember protesting outside filbert street after the infamous Sheff Utd game about the board and to get Martin George out! George Out George Out! Martin O'Neill (God) thought it was all for him but we wasnt protesting because of him it was the board. Also another protest can remember nearly everyone standing up at filbert street and chanting Pierpoint Out and displaying banners! But I bet Millwalls protest will be alot more violent than ours, expect a full scale riot! Keep out of that area! Glad I aint going!

Scow Posted 13 August 2004 Share Posted 13 August 2004 I hope the coach parks near the vicinity of the away bit.
Solihullfox Posted 13 August 2004 Share Posted 13 August 2004 Pretty sure the coaches are driven into a secure area right next to the away entrances, so no real need to take a spare pair of trousers with you!

Solihullfox Posted 13 August 2004 Share Posted 13 August 2004 The police escort is just to protect you from the small children and the old grannies throwing bricks and spitting at you. When the local neighbourhood watch spot you the police will leg it shouting "run for your lives".
Scow Posted 13 August 2004 Share Posted 13 August 2004 I've been to 4 away games before and I've never had a police escort.... ....But then again those games were only Arsenal, Bolton, Derby and Leeds.
Teeno Posted 13 August 2004 Share Posted 13 August 2004 Surprisingly we had a police escort at the Blackburn match, allthough i thought thier fans were soft and quite as ought.
