Meanwhile Cardiff are hoping fans can help boost their coffers for the January transfer window and help their promotion push by buying a season ticket for next season by 31 December.

Then if the club wins promotion to the Premier League, the cost of the season ticket will be refunded meaning they can watch top-flight football for free.

That's a great offer and very clever considering they are having debt troubles. It means they wont get a chunk of the season ticket sales in the summer if thy were to be promoted but the financial gain of the prem far outweighs it. Also means they can ease there debt problems for now.

Only problem is if they don't get promotion this season they wont have as much spending money in the summer as the majority of the budget would've been spent already on clearing debts.

That's a great offer and would be very tempting if I was a Cardiff fan cos they are in with a good chance of promotion. I reckon I'd snap up the early season ticket and hope for a free season of football.
