lcfcadam Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 Weale - 6 (Usual fairly solid performance but possibly should have done better with the free kick) McGivern - 4 (Marginally better than in recent displays but still woeful at positioning, and just too weak / lacking in pace) Brown - 5 (Distribution not quite as bad as in other games recently, alright in the air) Hobbs - 6 (Didn't look too uncomfortable with the fast upfront pair) Morrison - 7 (Didn't do too much wrong that I recall, well positioned for the goal and calmly taken) Gallagher - 7 (Much better set pieces) Wellens - 6 (At times creative, at times woeful at passing, in equal measure it seems) Oakley - 5 (Both central midfielders were totally overrun, and Oakley just seemed anonymous) N'Guessan - 6 (Great enthusiasm and well fought goal, but loses a point for conceding a totally unnecessary free-kick) Waghorn - 6 (Potential danger there like always but couldn't exploit it today) Kermorgant - 7 (The man is really good at winning it in the air and should've had a goal with his header) Fryatt - 4 (Looked like he'd still have rather been in his bed with the flu) Team Overall - 5 (Good marks for much of the play, but not holding out or looking confident in themselves drops them down) Pearson - 6 (Got them playing better to begin with, but bringing on Fryatt was just plain the wrong decision) Ref - 5 (Nailed on penalty not given to N'guessan, seemed fairly average overall though)
