Dr Pop Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 Cardiff CIty have just announced that all the corporate tickets have now competely sold out for tomorrow's game, which means we've sold out all areas of the ground for the first time - meaning a record attendance at our new stadium of around 27,000 (less segregation I guess). I thought the main areas would seel out no problem, but am impressed that we've been able to shift a couple of thousand corporate seats at £65 a pop! Hopefully you guys have sold out your away allocation - if so should be an electric atmosphere tomorrow. I understand the Welsh Guards will be parading around the pitch prior to kick off - fresh from a tour of duty, so should get everyone in the mood for the match ahead.
Rich Fox Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 Wow thats massive and your only 1 nil up in a play off semi final well done Cardiff.
Flynny Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 We sold 29,000. Cardiff have 1,200 less of us going. Cardiff would have sold more tickets, clearly, or they wouldn't be out of everything including corporate. They would have sold at least what we did if we're fair. Maybe i'm just not so insecure about the size of my penis that I have to resort to comparing attendances on the internet and making myself look like an utter tool.
Leicester_Mad Posted 11 May 2010 Posted 11 May 2010 Wow thats massive and your only 1 nil up in a play off semi final well done Cardiff. you cant sell any more tickets than what are available can you you moron Its like saying we only sold 32,500 tickets for a match that could win us the Premiership (im dreaming).

I'm led to believe that Cardiff Blues have had a big say in the corporate sales area. A friend of mine who's usually in corporate for The Blues matches has sold his allocation to the same guys who go just for rugby usually but on this occasion have gone for the footie. But well done it should make for a good atmosphere.
