Coventry has better public transport links to London where the majority of the games will be taking place, a ten minute train between Coventry station and Birmingham International Airport, plus regular buses from Pool Meadow to the stadium, plus a city centre that's easier in general to get from station to stadium (a decent ring road rather than a retarded one way system), plus the stadium is less than a minute away from a major motorway exit (for coaches and the like). Add on the fact that their stadium isn't really that different from ours except with higher sides behind that back of the seats and I don't understand why you'd consider the Walkers over it, especially when they were probably looking at the place closest to Birmingham anyway. Coventry's still a shithole, mind.

Hardly a big loss for us as a club, as I'd expect the Ricoh (Sorry, City of Coventry Stadium) to be as empty as always when hosting Australia's unknown players against their Egyptian counterparts.
