haraven Posted 9 August 2010 Posted 9 August 2010 http://www.walkingtheamazon.com/ According to newspapers he is arriving today. Not bad - that is stamina and grit. Diet of beans, rice and piranhas.
MC Prussian Posted 9 August 2010 Posted 9 August 2010 That story even got coverage over here. It took him more than two years to walk the 4000+ miles. And it's a miracle he's still alive - despite nature's threats and tribes who weren't too friendly to the "gringo". A bit foolish, but I have but admiration for the guy - an adventurer who did what hardly anyone would dare to do in the first place.
Cat Burger Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Hoping for some sort of extended documentary or book. Like a sort of extreme Michael Palin.
