Anyone know of anywhere that does basketball classes?

I dunno if classes is the right word but I'm after somewhere to play basketball, like learn how to play and shoot properly and play a few games with other like minded people. I don't wanna play with people who play all the time, just a place to learn a thing or two.

I was thinking Saffron Lane Leisure Center but I couldn't really find anything online so thought I'd ask on here.

I used to play for B'Leys in the Mens A league - tough division and some quality players.... here is the site, find yourself a friendly club and go and train and enjoy the game - at some point you may want to play matches, see what you think:

Joining a club is a bit much, I've never even played it competitively apart from PE at school years ago!

Sure - go on the site, they run taster courses and stuff - no need to join a club.

I do Basketball classes on me drive for £7.75 an hour and I prefer to do 2 hour sessions if you're interested. I've got a ring on the top of me garage and I can teach a spinning slam-dunk and everything. I've not quite mastered the 'between the legs reverse somersault slam-dunk' where you end up sitting on the garage roof, but that's real pro stuff.

You need to bring your own ball though cos I practice with a cabbage.

Yes. They do them just up the road from me, at High Wycombe Sports Centre.
