Brainy Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 i'd be more content doing this if my team weren't getting smased 5-1 and 9-0 every other week.
CheshireFox Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 went to see Altrincham Town play Kidderminster Harriers on saturday. Didnt realise the Harriers have a city player on loan (verma i think...) but he was injured anyway so didnt see any pitch action. the atmosphere was absolutely brilliant, there was only 927 people at this game, and the atmosphere made me ashamed of the Walkers stadium!! loads of singing, was great to be able to stand (ooh and no one got injured, funny that) and brilliant to see the hardened support stand behind the goal Alty were attacking in the first half, then all moving around to the other stand to get as close to the other goal for the second half! hot dog and chips and a drink for £4. lager IN A GLASS at half time. £13 per adult on the gate, afternoon entertainment sorted. will go again, totally enjoyed the return to the old days for a couple of hours

CosbehFox Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 Bilo, it's probably a FA Trophy qualifying round.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 Bilo, it's probably a FA Trophy qualifying round. Nope, Preliminary Round is on the 2nd and the 1st Round proper is on the 16th. Have to say that was my initial thought though. The 3rd Qualifying Round for the FA Cup is on the 9th though, could explain it.
DJhinckley Posted 21 September 2010 Posted 21 September 2010 The 3rd Qualifying Round for the FA Cup is on the 9th though, could explain it. what he said ^^ Conf Prem don't join FA Cup until 4th qual, Conf North/South have free weekend for FA Cup games
CosbehFox Posted 21 September 2010 Posted 21 September 2010 Explains it. Cracking FA Cup match this weekend : Barwell v Coalville. Rivals last season and both have 100% league records....dare I suggest Barwell will be playing very, very local rivals Hinckley next year in Evo-Stike Premier.

They play Loughborough Dynamo in the FA Cup tomorrow, surely get a win. Explains it. Cracking FA Cup match this weekend : Barwell v Coalville. Should be a cracker, think were going so long as we don't get back too late tonight, hopefully see a bit more action this time though, went down for the second half of the last round after the Cov game but stayed at the bar sampling the variety of flat beers.
