Paulo's Way

Dipped in and out of the Leeds Doncaster game last night. Didn't see it all, but from what I saw it looked like park footbal, played at 100mph, boot and hope, passes going astray more often than not and no obvious tatics.

It made me realise how slick leicester are beggining to look under Paulo, I know sometimes the way a team plays is dictated by the opposition, but from what I saw both teams looked disorganised. It surprised me as I believe Doncaster could have gone second with a victory.

If we carry on as we did against Cov scum and Cardiff we should be there or thereabouts at the end of the season, QPR will be the yardstick by which we should measure ourselves, but I for one am begining to brim with confidence.

up the city!! :scarf:

I like what you say, and I hope you are right.

There hasn't been a slick Leicester side since the Bloomfield era, granted - we were pretty damn slick back in those days from what I've read.

From the title, I was expecting a thread about some street getting renamed.

:D

I thought it was a new Robert de Niro film, set in the murky world of drugs , gambling and deceit around a local football stadium

Hmmmm! food for thought. I might have to re-post a similar thread next year when the Thai's have their feet well and truly under the table!

I just hope that, unlike that amazing Bloomfield team, our approach is rewarded with trophies.

I was thinking this the other day! i was watching the goal highlights on the internet and thought to myself how scrappy and lucky some of the goals were! when you watch Leicester, Cardiff, QPR, and Forest the goals tend to be well worked like both of Andy King's goals. The more we play good build up football like we have been doing the easier it will be to get goals!, you don't always see Arsenal beating teams 5 or 6 nil, only when they are on fire! this is a patient style, and it pays off because the longer we keep the ball the more frustrated the opposition will get and easier to pick off!

Qpr will be interesting but if our Defence gets caught out i fear the flood gates will open!

Even if we cant beat an egg and many have handed in transfer requests? I was worried at the beginning of the season and they have been justified so far. How can a team who missed out in the play offs last season fight off relegation this season. For me he has not really proved himself at managerial level and I blame MM for losing a quality manager in Pearson. Under him we had more steel and stomach. This man like to play pretty football at the expense of points. Dont believe we have the quality players to play the way he wants. So for me Iam looking over my shoulder at the drop zone EVERY WEEK! Ian Holloway, Craig Levine, David Pleat, Paula Sousa......... Do you sence a pattern?

who started this thread?

I'll get my coat.

yesterday was so frustrating. Why can't we score first? why do we conceed stupid goals? at times we battered them, but we can't convert possession into our advantage.

hopefully it will come.
