Sol Bamba

Hibs fans loved his 'committed and tough tackling' as a defensive midfield player during his first season with them, before a new manager put him back to centre half. Sven knows that many opposition teams in the Championship are big and strong and can often play football as well, aka Swansea. If we are really going to take on opposition teams big time, many Leicester fans know we need more 'fist' in midfield. All our midfield players are a bit lightweight, yes even ( if not especially ), Richie Wellens.

I sort of like the idea of having a 6'3" brick sh1t house kicking shades out of the opposition whilst the others get stuck in , and attack and score goals - it would also mean another big bloke in both boxes. I like us scoring goals from corners and other set pieces, and why shouldn't we start 'bullying' the opposition, and let them know that not only are we a better football team than they are, but we're bigger and harder as well!

For central defence we've got Jack Hobbs, ( hopefully ) Alexandre Tunchev, Ben Mee, Miguel Vitor, and maybe either Curtis Davies or Michael Morrison, and we could still use Sol Bamba there if we ever wanted to move him back from a defensive midfield role.

I like the idea ( although I've never seen Sol Bamba play ) better and better, the more I think about it!

I brought this up in the Bamba thread. I agree though
